No one starts off their day thinking about getting smoked. Then out of the blue, adversity hits and suddenly your dealing the fallout from a untimely, thermonuclear life-bomb. Stuff just seems to happen when you least expect it. What now?
There has to be a plan to survive.
Isolation is bad news. Auto-correction or self-calibration just doesn’t seem to function as well as a person would hope.
Knowing that, a time of prepping for a hit is a prudent plan for anyone. That is where time in the word and prayer with other men becomes key. Building a stronghold of scripture where a man can figure out how to make his stand. The vice of adversity can then field test what’s strong and what’s not. What is working and what isn’t.
God can use hardship to develop a man’s character and competence. Those qualities only come through being correctable before, during, and after the fight. God’s Word and a few faithful bro’s will do that to a man if he is willing to evolve.
“…I will not leave you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous…”
